Do note they do offer stuff for free every couple of weeks, albeit usually just pip-boy or power armor skins. I got quite a lot of it and the only thing that was worth getting was the tunnel snakes rule one because it actually added a half decent quest. The zetan guns are pretty cool, this I'd say is more high quality but not really worth money unless you can afford it easily, and not have to eat baked beans for a week to save for it.

I'm pretty disappointed you can't actually do anything with the store that it comes with but all the new stuff is neat and it's great to get some new clean furniture.
Dogs: Got all of them in the kennel pack, this plus the collar that changes Dogmeat means you get to have more cool doggos. They're really just skins in the end though, and you can't give them clothing like you can with Dogmeat. They have put some breeds for free in the past and the collar was free when it first came out. I have almost all of them just from the weekly freebies and it really benefits role playing with giving my settlements themes ex.
The Railroad safe house has everyone with Railroad themed armor, one settlement is Institute themed as a post endgame thing, and of course the Castle is Minutemen themed. The only thing that sucks is these only work for the base game armor and it doesn't actually change any of the factions, but there are mods for that. I also got the creations for settlements because I love settlement building. Never had any issues with the CC content myself. I've gotten mounds and mounds of it for free. The transdogifier let's you change dogmeats appearance too which is pretty good.
Don't buy any CC content. The servers that they dowbload from got overloaded when Fallout 76 came out, and so you are very lucky if it actully downloads. Or unlucky in the fallout 4 creation club free download of Captain Cosmos or Tunnel sneks, as both those bits of CC break the nain quest early on, locking you out of the minutemen, or getting codsworth as a companion.
Do you know what exactly the mods do that causes the problems with the main quest, minute men and codsworth? Dont know the exact details off the top of my head, but something about their quest initializers, instead of checking to see if youve finished out of time, causes the out of time quest to not trigger.
Codsworth treats every conversation as if you just walked out of the vault, and preston will not open the door for you at the museum fight. Well, I know the feeling of being on console. I still play my xb1 occasionally for World of Tanks. If CC is the only means, then just search on youtube for mods which are most reasonable. Are they free on console? I know you are limited by size and that the order which you install them in will matter as you dont have the mod organizers that pcs enjoy which will sort them.
